Alaska Aerospace Appoints VP/GM Kodiak Launch Complex

KODIAK, AK—Alaska Aerospace CEO Dale Nash announced the promotion of John Zbitnoff to the position of Vice President and General Manager Kodiak Launch Complex (KLC). Concurrent with this promotion Todd Leitheiser is named to the position of Deputy General Manager Kodiak Launch Complex.

John has been involved with the Kodiak Launch Complex (KLC) since construction began in 1998.  He has served in several capacities including construction, engineering, facility site manager, and Director of KLC operations for the last two years. This promotion is recognition of John’s increasing responsibly and senior leadership role at the KLC, within the company and with the launch customers.

Prior to his being named Deputy General Manager Kodiak Launch Complex, Todd served as Deputy Director of Operations at KLC with primary responsibility for instrumentation, telemetry and telecommunications including the vital range safety system.

John and Todd’s new positions reflect the professionalism, hard work and success of the entire KLC Alaska Aerospace team in a competitive, challenging environment.
