AAC and Moonshot Space Sign MOU at the 41st Space Symposium in Colorado Springs

Alaska Aerospace Corporation (AAC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Moonshot Space at the 41st Space Symposium in Colorado Springs. The MOU establishes a framework to explore next-generation approaches to delivering payloads to orbit and beyond. The agreement reflects a shared interest in boldly developing and fielding emerging space launch technology when it is needed most, which is now.

This collaboration supports AAC’s mission to lead the State in the exploration and development of space by aligning infrastructure, partnerships, and regulatory pathways to support new space launch services and aerospace development in Alaska. Moonshot’s innovative use of electromagnetic launch systems, for orbital (and beyond) payload delivery, presents a potential new capability that aligns with AAC’s vision to enable aerospace leadership, jobs and industry growth in the Last Frontier.
